We will be migrating our cold storage to a new address over the coming week. We are sharing the new address and outlining the process to ensure that our clients can continue to verify our Proof of Reserves.
Why are we doing this?
As our assets under custody scale, we will be routinely changing our custody address for reasons such as key rotation and upgrades to the custody architecture. This is a controlled process we have gone through several times; we are now communicating it more broadly for public visibility.
No action is required for CoinSpotX clients.
Note that clients will not be sending or receiving funds from this address directly, as it is only used by CoinSpotX. Clients will continue to use the standard send and receive flow in the CoinSpotX app.
Once the migration is complete, we will perform a new proof of reserves.
